HAH! Not too delayed on this one, lolz...
Batista Bulldozing Boys Backstage -- Hee, alliterations. Anyway. Smackdown opens this week with Batista and Kennedy brawling, and then Finlay shows up when Kennedy gets thrown somewhere. Finlay and Batista and Kennedy brawl all the way into the ring area until Taker shows up in the ring FTW. The lights go down, and then they come back on, and Taker is GONE FTW. Commercial.
In The Holla Office -- I find it funny that on RAW, we usually get the McOffice when the McMahons are hatching something ev0L, but we only get the Holla office when someone has to complain or bitch about something. Which is what's about to happen. Kennedy and Finlay want Taker and Batista to have at it tonight, fuck Backlash on Sunday. T.Lo twists their words of wanting to see Batista and Taker in action, and puts them in a no-DQ tag-team match against Kennedy and Finlay, holla holla holla, playa. Ken-Ken and Fin-Fin are NOT HAPPY.
Match 1 -- Kane and The Boogeyman vs Dave Taylor and William Regal --- I lol so much at the Kane and Boogeyman pairing it's almost not funny. Kane and Boogeyman win it after a match that actually had a commercial in it, something I thought they wouldn't do with this match. I didn't even think this would be the night's first match. If they gave Boogeyman a more personal, more specific finisher other than a Spinebuster, the crowd would love it. PS - No worms tonight.
Match 2 -- Kendrick (w/London) vs Deuce (w/Domino & Cherry) --- I almost forgot that Deuce and Domino are the tag champs now. Deuce wins clean against Kendrick even after Kendrick hit Sliced Bread # 2.
Interview -- After the break, Kristal tries to interview Deuce and Domino who decide they don't want to do the interview. Domino says they should just make like a banana and split. Which they do.
Match 3 -- MVP vs Hamlet Macbeth --- Umm...Hamlet was DANISH, yo, ask Shakespeare. Anyway, MVP's "half-man, half-amazing" is actually kind of good. Oh, and Hamlet Macbeth gets the "shoots lightning from his arse" line from "Braveheart". No, srsleh. MVP wins after he hits the Playmaker.
Match 4 -- Chris Benoit (c) vs MVP --- MVP supposedly has another competitor tonight, but Benoit interrupts and suggests they have at it. And so they do. Benoit wins by count-out after MVP rolls out of the ring to avoid the diving headbutt.
Back At The HollaOffice -- Apparently, Kristal was pretty distraught over her non-interview with Deuce, Domino and Cherry that she ran into the GM's arms and now they're totally making out and it's...NO, just NO. "Long" story short, Kristal says she wishes they could spend more time together, and T.Lo says he's found someone to be co-GM so they can. Hello there, "The G in Vickie G stands for General Manager" storyline, welcome back.
Match 5 -- Jillian vs Michelle McCool --- After saying that Prince William is now available and practically insulting the royal naughty bits by calling him Little Willie (ummmm, Jill? Do you know what Willie is in England?), Jillian gets her Sanjaya on much to the chagrin of the English fans. Michelle comes out, and Jillian attacks her to start their match. Jillian wins with the X Factor, and then gets her Sing-jaya on again, but Michelle is NOT HAPPY (and neither are most of us, really), and sends Sanjillian into the ring steps.
Match 6 -- Ken Kennedy and Finlay vs Batista and Undertaker (c) (no DQ Tag Match) --- It's no DQ, so expect a helluva lotta SHENANIGANS! to go down. Batista and Taker win.
After the match Arguments -- Batista says nobody keeps him down for a 10-count. Taker says the only thing left of Batista to claim is his soul. Who writes Taker's lines? They're kinda good. Credits.
=====================================
Benoit vs MVP has been added to the Backlash card, y'all. And I think if they'd had enough time, they might have tried to squeeze in Kendrick and London vs DDC for the titles, but hey, they'll reserve that for Judgement for Smackdown!'s next PPV. What is it, Judgment Day? I think so...
